The Power trading division has in its portfolio a large number of Power Generators and Buyers from across the country encompassing State Power / Utilities, Captive Power Plants, Independent Power Plants and Co-generation Power generators.

Vinergy has been awarded the Category 'F' or 'Class-1' Inter-state Power Trading License issued by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) vide No.5 / Trading / CERC dated 12th July, 2004.

Our mission is to become the premier service provider to the Indian Electricity Market. We are committed to leadership in the Power Trading sector by serving our vendors as well as our clients efficiently and helping them to meet their objectives.
  We represent a broad spectrum of power generating agencies such as IPPs, CPPs, Co-generation Plants etc, State       Utilities, Electricity Boards & Distribution Companies as their marketing arm.
  We obtain the Letter of Intent (LOI) from sellers and further quote to creditworthy electric utilities.
  We update our client base (buyers & sellers) with market trends and other relevant information.
  We deal with bonafide clients (buyers and generators), and ensure most favorable prices and terms in all       transactions.
  We provide best services, timely payments and absolute transparency in all deals.
  All transactions / services are as per CERC norms.
  We also participate in tenders on behalf of power generating entities.
  Vinergy follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) route with prospective business partners.
  We also have options to trade power on the IEX (Indian Energy Exchange), PXI (Power Exchange of India) and such      other platforms.
